AA-12

Tungsten alloy shot is used as the shot for shotgun hunting shells. The pellets spread upon leaving the barrel, and the power of the burning charge is divided among the pellets, which means that the energy of any one ball of shot is fairly low.  Tungsten alloy shot can be used for Atchisson Assault Shotgun

The Auto Assault-12 (AA-12), originally designed and known as the Atchisson Assault Shotgun, is a shotgun developed in 1972 by Maxwell Atchisson. The most prominent feature is reduced recoil. The current 2005 version has been developed over 18 years since the patent was sold to Military Police Systems, Inc. The original design was the basis of several later weapons, including the USAS-12 combat shotgun. The weapon is fully automatic only but fires at a rate of 300 rounds per minute, making it possible to fire one round at a time with brief trigger pulls. It is fed from either an 8-shell box magazine, or a 20- or 32-shell drum magazine.

The AA-12 can use different types of 3" 12 gauge ammunition such as buckshot, slugs, or less-than-lethal rubber stun batons.

Armsel Striker

Tungsten alloy shot is used as the shot for shotgun hunting shells. The pellets spread upon leaving the barrel, and the power of the burning charge is divided among the pellets, which means that the energy of any one ball of shot is fairly low. Tungsten alloy shot can be used for Armsel Striker.

The Armsel Striker — also known as Sentinel Arms Co Striker-12, Protecta, Protecta Bulldog, and Cobray/SWD Street Sweeper — is a revolver 12-gauge shotgun designed for riot control and combat.

The weapon's action is similar to that of a revolver, using a rotating magazine. Since the Striker uses a more or less conventional double action only trigger, and a very large and heavy cylinder (compared to handguns), Walker added a pre-wound clock-work spring to revolve the magazine. This proved to be a slow and ineffective way to load the weapon. The design was changed so that there is now a cocking lever on the right side of the barrel.

The Akdal MKA 1919 is a gas operated, semi-automatic shotgun that resembles the M16 rifle and mimics the layout and placement of some of the controls. It was created by Turkish company Akdal Arms. The MKA 1919 uses a conventional gas-operated action which is located around the support tube that runs below the barrel. The return spring is also located around the same support tube which is concealed by an enlarged polymer handguard. The MKA 1919 barrel can be quickly removed from upper receiver. To charge the shotgun, the charging handle on the receiver must be pulled. The upper receiver is manufactured from an aluminum alloy while the lower receiver, along with pistol grip and shoulder stock, is manufactured as one piece from impact-resistant polymer. Akdal MKA 1919 semi-automatic shotgun has a 5 round detachable box magazine. It has a bolt release identical in location and function to the one on the M16. Manual safety also duplicates M16-style being located on the left side of the receiver above the pistol grip. Standard sights include a front post installed on the M16-style removable base and a detachable M16A2-style carrying handle with built-in diopter sight. On the upper receiver, an integral Picatinny rail can be placed which will accept detachable carrying handle or optional red-dot or other optical sight attachments.

Fabarm SDASS Tactical

Tungsten alloy ball is used as the shot for shotgun hunting shells. The pellets spread upon leaving the barrel, and the power of the burning charge is divided among the pellets, which means that the energy of any one ball of shot is fairly low. Tungsten ALloy Ball for Defense

Nowadays, tungsten heavy alloy is increasingly adopted as the raw material to make parts of military products, such as bullet, armor and shells, shrapnel head, grenade, hunting gun, bullet warheads, bulletproof vehicles, tank panzers, cannons, firearms, etc. A major use for tungsten heavy alloy is in kinetic energy penetrators, where they are in direct competition with depleted uranium (DU). Recent investigations conducted at the Army Research Laboratory show that DU’s superior properties resulted from its ability to localize shear during ballistic penetration events. Therefore, it was argued that if localized shear can be imparted to tungsten heavy alloys, these alloys would exhibit penetration performance matching that of depleted uranium (which had become an environmental problem). In order to reduce the adoption of environmental hazardous materials in the military field, tungsten related products are used as a nontoxic substitute for lead and depleted uranium in bullet and shot. High-density metals such as tungsten are now widely employed; the goal is to create functional, high density, non-toxic arms projectiles with controlled impact behavior. The special properties of tungsten alloy render it the most ideal counterweight materials, far more than already listed on our website.

Owing to its great hardness and resistance to high temperature, tungsten has been adopted in military defense increasingly today.

Tungsten Alloy Shot Properties

High density, great hardness and resistance to high temperature make tungsten to be one of the most sought -after material for shotgun pellets in hunting history . Density of tungsten alloy shot is about 18g/cm3, which is comparable only to gold ,platinum, or bismuth. To understand how the density factors of tungsten heavy alloy into performance, let us look at two spheres about the same size of tungsten alloy shot, a golf ball and a ping -pong ball. The golf ball is far denser and will fly farther and hit harder. Now reducing that size  down to two single, getting the picture. Tungsten alloy will fly farther, hit harder and penetrate deeper, which means more birds ,farther our ,with fewer cripples. Another unique property of tungsten alloy is that it is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Tungsten Alloy Cube Vibrator

Military tungsten alloy cube is usually used as mobile phone vibrator. Compared with others materials, tungsten alloy mobile vibrator has the advantages as followed:

small size, large density(17g/cc) , high accuracy in dimension and weigh, non-magnetic.

Tungsten alloy cube is excellent material for making this component. Since the density of tungsten alloy is so high and the maximum density should be 18.6g/cm3. It is popular for the component needs great heaviness but small capacity, for example: mobile phone vibration, the vibrating parts of and clock, etc.

Mobile phone bobs and clock vibration parts are one of our leading products. Compared with other materials, tungsten alloy vibrators bear the advantages of accurate weight, and non-magnetism. In particular, since a motorized weight usually produces the vibrations, lighter-weight phones may have weaker vibrating mechanisms.

Properties of Tungsten Alloy Spheres

Tungsten alloy sphere comes from the family of tungsten alloy products. It shares the same properties of tungsten alloy products such as high density, incredible strength, consistent durability and long-lasting value. Besides, our tungsten spheres are fully sintered solids. These are spherical-shaped, ball-like solids with a parallel band around one axis of the diameter. The diameter of this band is identical to the ball's diameter and is an essential part of the manufacturing process.

Applications of Tungsten Alloy Military Sphere

Tungsten alloy can be used for bullets or pellets in various military applications such as pellets used inside a shotgun shell. Lead shot and bullets have been banned in many areas .

Tungsten alloy military fittings because of the environmental concerns. The main substitute materials are steel, bismuth and tungsten. The main advantages of tungsten military sphere that is used as pellet is that it is very dense, and very hard. The density allows the pellets to travel longer distances without loosing energy, while the hardness allows the pellets to keep their shape while being accelerated by the powder charge, which increases the muzzle velocity.

Tungsten alloy spheres are also used in hand grenade, armor piercing projectile, prefabricated fragments. Tungsten military sphere is small in volume and very dense. Allowing them to penetrate armor and damage targets. Tungsten alloy has been used in missile weapons, armor piercing ammunition, tungsten alloy bullet, shrapnel head, core for armor-piercing bullet measurement, kinetic energy penetrators, armor and shells.

Other Information of Tungsten Alloy Shot

Tungsten alloy shot loads enhance the ability of the shooter to place the load on target in two distinct ways. Tungsten alloy shot retains velocity  better than any other shot media. It gets to the target quicker for any given launch velocity. Tungsten alloy shot provides its performance at a 50% or greater reduction in recoil to any load of competing shot that would "hope" to match tungsten alloy shot performance. The reduced level of recoil will make you a better shooter. No matter how Macho we think we are, the human mind does not appreciate getting hammered in the shoulder and cheek bone. It is instinctive to avoid that situation. Tungsten alloy shot loads will help you  keep your head down. where it needs to be and reduce the tendency to pull off target "jerking the gun down" to avoid the blow.

MIW to Make Tungsten Alloy Cube

Since tungsten metal is hard to be machined, the common remotion process could not make it perfect. But Metal Injection Molding (MIM) is an ideal manufacture process to making tungsten alloy cubes. MIM is suitable to manufacture the metal and ceramic component with the property of complex three-dimensional structure, high density, high rigidity, high precision, etc. The smaller, more precise, more complex, MIM have more advantage, the density comes 95%-98%. The high density of WHAs makes it possible to significantly reduce the physical size of components. This in turn, gives the benefit of greater control of weight distribution and increases the sensitivity of controlling mechanisms. Where a large mass must be housed within a restricted area, tungsten alloys are the ideal material.
